The Best Age for Baby Photos: A Guide to Your Baby's First Year

As a Temecula baby photographer and mom of two, I've watched countless little ones grow through their first year. One of the questions I hear most often from new parents is, "When should we schedule our baby's photos?" After 10+ years behind the camera (and plenty of time chasing my own kids around our farm), I've learned that there's something magical to capture at every stage.
Newborn Sessions: Those Precious First Two Weeks
There's nothing quite like those first sleepy, curled-up days. As a newborn photographer in Temecula, I recommend scheduling these sessions within the first 5-14 days when babies are still in that drowsy, womb-like state. They curl up naturally into those adorable poses you see in newborn galleries, and they tend to sleep through most of the session.
